Braving storms

Bullet proof exterior,

A smile that hides a million emotions,

Stopping the waterfall 

Showing no trace of gloom at all.

She walks with a heavy heart,

The turn she hadn’t anticipated this fast. 

And as she glides towards her doom

To tell whom her fate she has no clue.

For people she loves have little to say

They want her to smile and to stay.

But she knows the difficult road, 

She has to walk, she cannot bail;

So, there she walks showing no fear 

Though in her heart she trembles sheer.

No tear from her eyes she let’s fall 

She heads towards a new era head tall.

What the future holds she knows not,

She just chooses to tread along the path.

The chink in her armour she doesn’t show,

She looks ahead, her past ignored.
